How a lawyer helps: A lawyer ensures the injury is properly reported and medically documented, calculates entitlements including treatment, wages during recovery and compensation for permanent disability, and confirms the correct process onshore or in DIFC/ADGM. The lawyer deals with the employer, insurer and authorities, and can pursue a claim before the labour courts if entitlements are denied. Where negligence caused the injury, the lawyer may also advise on civil compensation.
